This was my first year attending the conference and it was an amazing experience! I learned something new from each speaker and left both days feeling inspired. This conference is the whole package, encompassing intervention guidelines and highlighting self-reflection and self-care strategies that are an essential part of being an oncology PT. This conference embodies such a strong community that I’m so grateful to be a part of and provides you with the opportunity to connect and reach out to peers. I’m already so excited for next year!

This year’s Cancer Rehab Community Conference was absolutely incredible and deeply energizing. You’d think a virtual conference might feel a bit “yawn,” but Elise and Kelly created something completely different — it was engaging, dynamic, and full of meaningful connection. Every speaker brought unique insight, and no matter your background, you could walk away with real, actionable clinical pearls. My biggest “aha” moment came during Adam’s session on death and loss. His discussion on micro self-care strategies and ways to cope with losing a patient really resonated with me — it gave me tools I can use throughout my day to stay grounded and compassionate, even in difficult situations. This conference has truly helped me grow both personally and professionally as an oncology rehab clinician. It reminded me why this work matters so much, how we can show up for each other and our patients in different ways, and how important it is to care for ourselves while caring for others. Bravo Kelly and Elise (And Saher!)

This conference was wonderful! I love that every presentation is not only evidence-based but also filled with practical applications. I always walk away thinking, ‘That’s something I can use!’ The conference creates such an energetic and inspiring atmosphere even while discussing something as heavy as cancer. It also sheds light on areas I didn’t know much about and provides the resources to help me grow in those topics. I’d highly recommend it not only to oncology professionals but to anyone who wants to learn how to care for people with cancer more effectively and compassionately.
